About Connecticare

Connecticare was founded in 1981 to make Connecticut individuals, retirees and employer groups healthier. Connecticare offers ConnectiCare centers where people can walk in, ask questions and understand health insurance, all in person.

Connecticare supports its members' communities and interests by giving to organizations that promote health and wellness. Some example recipients of Connecticare grants are the Connecticut Food Bank and Foodshare, Nutmeg Youth Triathlon Team, Special Olympics CT and the Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.
